AI Content Policy

1.1Transparency

AI-generated or substantially AI-edited listing content must not misrepresent the physical item, condition, brand, location, or seller identity. Users remain responsible for all published content regardless of tools used.

1.2Human Accountability

Automated suggestions are not guarantees. Sellers must review AI output before publishing. Buyers should rely on disclosures, photos, and verification—not solely on AI summaries.

2.1Helpful Assistance

• Drafting listing titles and descriptions from seller-provided facts
• Grammar, spelling, and translation assistance with human review
• Background removal or lighting correction that does not alter item identity
• Price range suggestions based on anonymized market signals
• Accessibility alt-text generation for images you own

2.2Moderation and Safety

Listifys may use AI classifiers to detect spam, prohibited items, and policy violations. Significant automated enforcement may be subject to human review and appeal where required by law.

3.1Deceptive Content

• Generating photos of items you do not possess or cannot deliver
• Deepfakes of people, brands, or certificates implying false endorsement
• Fabricated reviews, ratings, or chat messages attributed to real users
• AI voice or chat impersonation of buyers, sellers, or Listifys support
• Hiding defects, damage, or non-original parts through generative edits

3.2Circumvention

Using AI to evade moderation, create prohibited listings at scale, or harvest user data from Listifys is forbidden and may result in permanent suspension.

4.1When to Disclose

If an image is entirely synthetic and not a photo of the actual item, you must clearly state this in the listing description (e.g., 'Illustrative AI render—not a photograph of the physical product'). Synthetic renders are discouraged for used goods categories.

4.2Chatbots

Automated seller chatbots must identify themselves as automated at the start of a conversation and provide a path to reach a human seller for material transaction terms.

5.1Your Content

Unless you opt in where offered, Listifys does not use your private messages or non-public photos to train third-party foundation models. Aggregated, anonymized marketplace signals may improve internal ranking and safety models per our Privacy Policy.

5.2Third-Party AI Providers

Some features may route data to vetted subprocessors under data processing agreements with confidentiality, retention limits, and regional transfer safeguards including India DPDP and GDPR requirements.

6.1Remedies

Violations may lead to listing removal, demotion, mandatory re-verification, or account suspension. Report suspected AI scams to contact@listifys.com with screenshots and listing URLs.
