This policy covers copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, patents where relevant to listings, and other proprietary rights implicated by user content on listifys.com and our mobile apps.

2. User Obligations
2-1Upload Only Authorized Content
You may upload photos, descriptions, logos, and videos only if you created them, own the rights, or have express permission from the rights holder.
2-2Counterfeit and Infringing Goods
Listing counterfeit goods or using brand names and logos to mislead buyers about authenticity violates this policy and our Prohibited Items Policy.
2-3Fair Use and Commentary
Limited quotation or commentary may be permissible under fair use or fair dealing doctrines, but users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with applicable law.
3. Listifys Intellectual Property
3-1Platform Assets
The Listifys name, logos, app icons, interface design, software, and documentation are owned by Listifys or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
3-2Permitted Use
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Listifys brand assets without prior written consent, except for incidental reference necessary to identify the Platform.
4. Reporting Infringement
4-1What to Include
Rights holders or authorized agents should send notices to contact@listifys.com with sufficient detail for us to locate and evaluate the content.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to be infringed
- URLs or listing IDs of allegedly infringing material on Listifys
- Contact information of the complaining party
- A statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized
- A statement that information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the complainant is authorized to act
- Physical or electronic signature of the authorized representative
4-2Trademark Complaints
Trademark disputes involving brand confusion, unauthorized logo use, or sale of counterfeit goods are reviewed under this policy and product authenticity standards.
5. Review and Removal Process
5-1Initial Review
We review complete notices and may remove or disable access to reported content pending further investigation.
5-2Repeat Infringement
Users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may have accounts terminated under our repeat infringer policy.
5-3Counter-Notifications
Users who believe content was removed in error may submit counter-notifications as described in our DMCA Policy for U.S. copyright claims.
6. Intermediary Protections and Limits
6-1Hosting Role
Listifys hosts user content as an intermediary. We do not adjudicate complex ownership disputes beyond applying stated policies and lawful orders.
6-2India Notice Requirements
For users in India, we process takedown requests consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Intermediary Rules, including grievance escalation at contact@listifys.com.
6-3No Legal Advice
This policy does not constitute legal advice. Rights holders and users should consult counsel for complex disputes.
7. Licenses Granted to Listifys
7-1User Content License
By uploading content, you grant Listifys the license described in our Terms of Service to host and display your content for marketplace operation.
7-2Promotion
We may feature listings in editorial collections, emails, or social posts to promote marketplace activity unless you opt out where such opt-out is offered.
8. Third-Party Rights
8-1Brand Owners
Brand owners may participate in authentication or reporting programs offered by Listifys where available.
8-2Open Source
Listifys software may include open-source components subject to their respective licenses, notices for which are available upon request.
9. Misrepresentation and Penalties
9-1False Claims
Submitting false infringement notices or counter-notifications may result in liability under applicable law and suspension from reporting tools.
9-2Platform Enforcement
In addition to IP remedies, infringing listings may be removed under our Prohibited Items and Seller policies.
