International User Policy

1-1Operating Entity

Listifys is operated from Listifys — 1000 Bearcat Way Suite 105 Unit 5, Morrisville, NC 27560, USA. Contracting, hosting, and policy governance for the United States market are U.S.-based unless we expressly designate a local entity for a specific feature.

1-2No Legal Advice

This policy summarizes operational rules for international use. It does not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for determining how local consumer, tax, customs, and marketplace laws apply to your listings and purchases.

2-1Supported Markets

Listifys is designed for broad international access, with particular support for users in India and the United States. Feature availability — including payments, phone verification, promoted listings, and category access — may differ by country, state, or city.

We may launch, limit, or discontinue services in any region to manage legal risk, payment coverage, fraud patterns, or carrier support.

2-2Restricted Territories

You may not use Listifys if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or attempting to transact on behalf of persons in jurisdictions where we are prohibited from providing services under U.S., Indian, UN, or other applicable sanctions and export-control laws.

We may block accounts, listings, or payments associated with restricted territories, denied parties, or high-risk geolocation signals.

2-3Language and Currency Display

The Platform may display currencies, date formats, and languages for convenience. Displayed conversion rates, where shown, are estimates only. Binding prices are those agreed between buyer and seller in the checkout or message thread unless otherwise stated.

3-1Buyer and Seller Responsibilities

Cross-border deals require both parties to confirm that the item may lawfully be sold, exported, imported, and used in the destination country. This includes age-restricted goods, electronics with encryption, plants, food, medical devices, and intellectual-property-sensitive products.

3-2Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Unless a listing expressly states delivery duty paid terms, buyers bear import duties, VAT, GST, brokerage fees, and related charges assessed by destination authorities.

Sellers must provide accurate customs descriptions and values. Misdeclaration may result in seizure, penalties, and account enforcement.

3-3Warranties and Returns Across Borders

Manufacturer warranties may not transfer internationally. Return shipping for cross-border disputes can be costly and slow; buyers should confirm return terms before purchase.

Platform payment protection, if available, applies according to the Buyer Policy and may exclude certain international routes or categories.

5-1United States

U.S. users are subject to our Terms of Service for the United States, including arbitration provisions and class-action waiver where enforceable under U.S. law. Those U.S. dispute terms do not automatically apply to users outside the United States. California residents have additional rights under our California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA) notice.

Certain categories may be restricted under state law, including firearms accessories in some jurisdictions, recalled goods, and age-restricted products.

5-2European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our GDPR Compliance Statement describes legal bases, data-subject rights, international transfers, and Data Protection Officer contact channels.

Users in the EEA or UK may lodge complaints with their local supervisory authority in addition to contacting Listifys.

5-3Consumer Information Rights

EU and UK traders using Listifys must provide accurate business identity, withdrawal rights where legally required, and pre-contract information for distance contracts they conclude with consumers.

6-1Prohibited Exports and End Uses

Users may not list, sell, ship, or procure items subject to export licensing, military end-use restrictions, or dual-use controls without required authorizations.

This includes certain encryption software, thermal imaging devices, drones, chemicals, and components destined for prohibited military or nuclear programs.

6-2Screening and Enforcement

Listifys may screen users, payments, and shipping addresses against sanctions and watchlists. We may suspend transactions that present compliance risk and cooperate with competent authorities.

7-1Payment Methods and Payouts

Available payment methods depend on the buyer's country, seller eligibility, currency support, and partner network coverage. Payout timing and fees are disclosed during onboarding and in our Payment Terms.

7-2Anti–Money Laundering

We may require enhanced verification for cross-border payouts, high-volume sellers, or unusual transaction patterns. Failure to complete verification may delay or block withdrawals.

7-3Foreign Exchange

When currency conversion occurs through Listifys or its payment partners, the applicable exchange rate and fees are shown at the time of transaction. Chargeback and refund amounts may differ from the original authorization due to rate movement.

8-1Contractual Terms

Your relationship with Listifys is governed by our Terms of Service for your market (United States), including the governing-law and forum provisions that apply to users in that market. Those provisions are not the same in every country.

Peer-to-peer purchase contracts are between buyer and seller. Listifys does not choose the governing law for private sales unless we are a direct party to a covered checkout program.

8-2Mandatory Local Rights

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that prohibits certain choice-of-law or forum clauses, those mandatory protections remain available to you notwithstanding our Terms.
