Prohibited Items Policy

1-1Scope

This policy applies to all listings, wanted posts, service offers, images, and transaction discussions on listifys.com and our mobile apps.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring items comply with local, state, national, and international laws applicable to the sale and delivery location.

1-2Enforcement

Listings that violate this policy may be removed without notice. Repeat or severe violations may lead to account suspension and referral to law enforcement.

Report prohibited listings to contact@listifys.com or through in-app reporting.

2-1Illegal Goods and Services

Any item whose sale, purchase, or possession is illegal in the listing location or destination jurisdiction is prohibited.

• Stolen property or goods lacking proof of lawful ownership
• Counterfeit or replica goods presented as authentic branded products
• Forged documents, fake currency, or government credentials
• Items designed primarily to facilitate crime or evade detection

2-2Weapons and Explosives

Firearms, ammunition, silencers, bump stocks, explosive materials, and illegal weapons are prohibited unless explicitly allowed under a written Listifys restricted-category program compliant with all applicable laws.

• Undetectable or untraceable firearms
• Automatic weapons where restricted
• Improvised explosive devices and detonators
• Switchblade knives or gravity knives where banned

2-3Drugs and Controlled Substances

Illegal drugs, narcotics, prescription medications without lawful authorization, drug paraphernalia primarily intended for illegal use, and unapproved psychoactive substances are prohibited.

2-4Human Remains and Exploitation

Human organs, remains, and trafficking-related content are prohibited. Listings that exploit or endanger minors are strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities.

3-1Alcohol and Tobacco

Alcohol and tobacco products may be restricted or prohibited depending on seller licenses, buyer age verification capability, and local regulations. Unlicensed sale is not permitted.

3-2Animals and Wildlife

Live animals may be listed only where lawful and humane standards are met. Endangered species products, illegal wildlife trade, and bait animals are prohibited.

3-3Food and Health Products

Perishable food, supplements, cosmetics, and medical devices must comply with labeling, safety, and licensing rules in the sale jurisdiction. Unapproved treatments and miracle cure claims are prohibited.

3-4Vehicles and Parts

Vehicles must be accurately titled and VIN-disclosed where applicable. Tampered odometers, non-street-legal vehicles sold without disclosure, and recalled parts presented as safe for use may be removed.

3-5Electronics and Surveillance

Spyware, unlawful interception devices, decoders intended to bypass paywalls, and hardware primarily designed for unauthorized access are prohibited.

4-1Prohibited Digital Items

Listings for pirated software, stolen credentials, hacked accounts, bulk personal data, or malware are prohibited.

4-2Gift Cards and Vouchers

Gift cards, coupons, and vouchers may be restricted to prevent fraud. Codes obtained through unauthorized means may not be sold.

4-3Financial Instruments

Securities, cryptocurrency offerings presented as investments, pyramid schemes, and unlicensed lending services are prohibited.

5-1Adult Services

Sexual services, escort arrangements, and pornographic content sales unrelated to lawful media distribution are prohibited.

5-2Academic Dishonesty

Completed assignments, exam answers for sale, and impersonation services for academic or professional testing are prohibited.

5-3Unauthorized Professional Services

Services requiring professional licensure — such as medical treatment, legal representation, or electrical work — may not be offered by unlicensed providers where law requires licensure.

7-1Export and Import Controls

Sellers must not list items subject to export controls, sanctions, or import bans in destination countries.

7-2Cultural Artifacts

Artifacts protected under UNESCO conventions or national heritage laws may not be listed without lawful provenance and export permits.

8-1Disclosures

Even permitted items must include accurate condition disclosures, safety warnings, and age restrictions where relevant.

8-2Recalled Products

Items subject to government or manufacturer recalls may not be listed unless the listing clearly states recall status and lawful remedial steps.
