User Generated Content Policy

1.1Ownership

You retain ownership of UGC you create, subject to licenses you grant below and rights of others (such as copyright or trademark holders). Listifys does not claim ownership of your original photos or text.

1.2Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for UGC you post and its legality. You represent that you have all rights necessary to publish it and that it does not violate law, third-party rights, or Listifys policies.

2.1Grant of License

By posting UGC, you grant Listifys a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display, distribute, and promote your content in connection with operating and marketing the marketplace.

2.2Duration

The license continues while your content is displayed and for a reasonable period thereafter for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Deleted content is removed from public surfaces within commercially reasonable timeframes, subject to our Data Retention Policy.

3.1Accurate Listings

• Use real photos of the actual item or clearly label stock and representative images
• Disclose defects, replicas, and non-original parts
• Do not use another seller's images or descriptions without permission
• Keep pricing, availability, and location information current

3.2Prohibited Content

• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or sexual exploitation
• Personal data of others posted without lawful basis or consent
• Malware links, spam funnels, or deceptive redirects
• Content promoting prohibited items or illegal activity
• Deepfakes or manipulated media intended to mislead buyers

4.1Our Rights

Listifys may review, rank, demote, label, or remove UGC that violates policies or law. We use automated tools and human reviewers. See Content Moderation Policy for process detail.

4.2Repeat Infringers

Accounts with repeated IP or UGC violations may be suspended under our Account Suspension Policy and DMCA Policy.

4.3No Obligation to Monitor

As an intermediary, Listifys is not obligated to pre-screen all UGC but will act on valid notices and credible reports consistent with India's IT Rules due diligence framework and comparable international standards.

5.1Copyright and Trademark

Rights holders may submit notices to contact@listifys.com with identification of the work, infringing material, contact details, and statements required by applicable law. Counter-notices may be accepted where procedures allow.

5.2False Claims

Knowingly false IP complaints may expose submitters to liability. Listifys may terminate accounts that abuse reporting systems.

6.1Personal Data in UGC

Do not post others' phone numbers, addresses, Aadhaar, passport, or financial details without consent. Users in India and abroad may request removal of personal data under the DPDP Act, GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA via contact@listifys.com.

6.2Public Nature of Listings

Listings and public profile fields are visible to other users and may appear in search engines. Use privacy settings where available and avoid sharing sensitive information in public fields.
